Soil 'on strike' says land chief
Cant, B. (1983) Soil 'on strike' says land chief. Western Farmer and Grazier, 24 November 1983. p. 6 [Publication] [Special Collections]
Summary
Newspaper article by Brendan Cant.
Land Management Society president Harry Whittington has called for closer cooperation among farmers, agricultural scientists and government authorities in what is perhaps a last ditch effort to unite all forces concerned with land management in Western Australia. A land resources and red tape seminar addressed the need for more coordinated research into the long term productivity and better water usage for land management.
