Summary
The Pipe the Salt Committee presented a 35-page submission to the Victorian Government's Salinity Committee claiming the problem of salinity is costing the Victorian economy an estimated $1,748 million per year. The submission called on the Salinity Committee to support a recommendation that funds be made available for an implementation report into a disposal system incorporating a pipe or conduit to the sea.
