Summary
Eminent United States soil scientist and salinity expert Dr Paul Brown has completed a comprehensive tour of Western Australia to study soil and water salinity problems from Geraldton to Esperance. Dr Brown addressed about 35 farmers at the Esperance Downs research station, visited the property of WISALTS president Lex Hardie at Narrogin and spoke at the Land Management Society convention in Perth. Dr Brown's visit was sponsored by Wesfarmers.
