WISALTS column
(1983) WISALTS column. Elders Weekly, 15 September 1983. p. 40 [Publication] [Special Collections]
Summary
WISALTS has been aware since its inception of the importance of treatment of the whole catchment or slope while attempting to remediate land degradation. One of the reasons for the soil conservation districts beginning to be established now in Western Australia is to encourage farmers to preserve and improve their soils and to halt degradation processes as far as possible.
