Summary

The first convention of the Land Management Society of Western Australia "Land, the Fragile Resource" was held 5-6 September 1983 in the Golden Ballroom of the Sheraton Perth-Hotel. The Convention was opened by Sir Donald Eckersley and included the outcome of the establishment of Australia's first Land Management Society, with Harry Whittington appointed as President of the society.
