Summary

Outlines the proposal to establish a Land Management Society in Western Australia. Premier Brian Burke has told the steering committee that the government would support its founding convention through the resources of the Rural and Allied Industries Council. Steering committee chairman, Mr Harry Whittington said that while support of the Government and scientists is most welcome, it is the farmers who suffer most from damage to agricultural land and the farmers who will take the most effective action.
