Discusses avenues available to farmers to address problems with waterlogging, erosion and scalding. One of these is to employ a WISALTS surveyor to assess the farmland: extent of the catchment area, factor in topography of the catchment, depression, rocky outcrops, the type of natural bush present, location of any streams and lakes, boundaries and existing fence lines.
