A salinity control programme laying pipes to control salt carrying lateral flows has been established at trial sites in Watheroo, Dalwallinu, Goomalling, Meckering, Bullaring and Tenterden, including the properties of John Davis and Mick Sutherland.

This article includes a photograph by Max Piggott on a D9H Caterpillar tractor laying pipes at the property of John Davis in Tenterden.
