Summary
An overview of the positive comments made by prominent American soil scientist Dr Al Black, Director of the Northern Great Plains Research Centre in Mandan, North Dakota during his visit to Western Australia from 30 March to 13 April 1983. Dr Black visited 24 properties, 5 of them non-WISALTS and was shown water harvesting, slotted pipe techniques, open drains and Whittington interceptor banks.
