Summary

Discusses the visit to Western Australia by prominent American soil scientist Dr Al Black, Director of the Northern Great Plains Research Centre in Mandan, North Dakota. Dr Black an internationally recognised expert in dry land agriculture, travelled to the USSR, Western Australia and Canada to study and help initiate research procedures for erosion, crop production and salinity problems.
