WISALTS column - Field Days - the bottom line

(1989) WISALTS column - Field Days - the bottom line. Elders Weekly, 7 September 1989. p. 59 [Publication] [Special Collections]

Summary

Discusses the highs and lows of manning a stand at field days. A key challenge WISALTS members face is righting the misconception that the Interceptor Bank System controls salt, the system controls the surface and sub-surface water but it does not interact directly with salt.

Some thought is given to how WISALTS should measure the success of stands at field days, with the implication that weight will be given to financial measure of success alongside qualitative indicators.
