Summary

Discusses the overwhelming amount of information about soil conservation available. WISALTS tries to adopt the maxim of meeting people where they are at in terms of their conservation knowledge and design their courses and information to be simple and accessible for everyone. Priorities of the society have changed since it's inception, when formed WISALTS focused on land that was already salted but have altered their approach to tackle subsurface water flow to preempt land salinity.
