Announcement of the winners of the Australian Nuffield Farming Scholarship. Moora farmer Peter Nixon, won the scholarship for his study investigating how pasture and stock management relates to soil structure and stock numbers. The other scholarship recipients are committed to studying farm machinery and tillage techniques, grain storage, and the marketing and supply of crop species to Australian farmers. The results of their investigations are to be published by QANTAS.
