A promotion of the usefulness of the Interceptor Bank System in Australia's specific climate pattern. For Western Australia in particular, the short period of intense rainfall is a significant contributor to erosion and waterlogging. The WISALTS system manages water where it falls in heavy rainfall, but also controls subsurface water flow year round.
