Summary
The use of anhydrous ammonia fertilizer is growing in popularilty as a nutrient replenisher in the soil. Emeral Consolidated Fertilizers held a display at agriculture conferences likening the soil as a bank; growing crops requires a loan of nutrients from the soil which must be repayed to maintain balance.
This article contains a photograph of Terry Lovett, depot supervisor at Fairbairn Fertilizers, with a supply truck about to deliver an order of anhydrous ammonia.
