WISALTS column - Farming for a future

(1989) WISALTS column - Farming for a future. Elders Weekly, 4 May 1989. p. 35 [Publication] [Special Collections]

Summary

Promotes the new magazine, 'The Australian Conservation Farmer'. Focuses on an article in the third issue by Dr Brian Roberts, Dean of the School of Applied Science at Darling Downs Institute of Advanced Education, about land stewardship. WISALTS agrees with his assessment that a shift needs to be made from maximum production to optimum farming, whereby the condition of the land and balance is just as important as the production figures.
