Summary

WISALTS column in response to the application closing date for the Remnant Vegetation Protection Scheme. Under the scheme, landowners could receive a government subsidy for fencing to protect and regenerate native vegetation. The applications must be assessed for viability, one condition for the subsidy is that the land must either be of good health or able to be returned to good health before funding will be allowed.
