WISALTS column - Soil shows improvement

(1989) WISALTS column - Soil shows improvement. Elders Weekly, 2 February 1989. p. 78 [Publication] [Special Collections]

A review of the annual WISALTS Field Day held at the property of Gavin and Sheila Drew at Beermullah on 30 September 1988. The attendees viewed progress made since the last WISALTS Field Day at the property in 1985, to see how the interceptor banks had been fine tuned for improved water control. The Drew's reported significantly higher production rates and healthier soil than adjacent paddocks without WISALTS interceptor banks installed.
