(1989) Land manager competition; WA farmers lead the way. Elders Weekly, 2 February 1989. p. 76 [Publication] [Special Collections]

Landcare efforts in Western Australia are acknowledged and celebrated as leading the pack in Australia. In a show of solidarity, business and landcare groups joined forces for a land management competition (facilitated by Elders Weekly), with a Holden Rodeo offered as the prize.

This article contains four photographs of people involved in organising the competition: Jos Chatfield; Trevor Wornes with David Lloyd; Western Australian Minister for Agriculture Julian Grill with Bill Cox, David Wilcox and Lance Hurst; and John Blyth, a scientific adviser at the Western Australian Department of Conservation of Land Management.
