Summary

Discusses how WISALTS communicates with non-members through taking stands at field days and agricultural shows. The third annual Mount Barker machinery field day is being held on Wednesday 13 April 1983. The WISALTS committee has also organised an open meeting to be held in Perth on 9 April for Dr Al Black, a prominent American soil scientist and and Director of the Northern Great Plains Research Centre in Mandan, North Dakota to give a speech about salinity control in the US.
