Summary
Greg Lawrie, chairman of the Dawson-Callide Soil Conservation Advisory Committee, states that farmers should not be expected to bear the whole cost of maintaining the soil for future generations. Mr Lawrie said there must be a financial input by the whole community at federal, state and local government level.
