Summary

Discusses an article where a proposed land release for agriculture is centred on an area of 10,700 hectares, north of the Fitzgerald River national park. Land Release Study Group spokesman Keith Bradby said the agricultural problems were evidenced by sand drifts and the potential for high salinity in the area.Land Release Study Group chairman John McFadden refutes Mr Bradby's claims,also including the lack of scrutiny where the release could threaten rare or endangered flora.
