WISALTS column - Banks trigger soil improvement

(1990) WISALTS column - Banks trigger soil improvement. Elders Weekly, 13 September 1990. p. 75 [Publication] [Special Collections]

Clarifies the role of the WISALTS interceptor banks system. The banks are not an a solution alone, rather they provide the trigger for improvement. The banks help control water movement through the soil, meaning the land can restore its own balance for healthy soil.
