The 18th general assembly for the World Conservation Union to be held from 28 November to 5 December 1990 in Perth, Western Australia. The aim of the event was to showcase Australia's achievements in landcare and to plan a global conservation direction. 1,500 delegates from 140 countries expected to be in attendance.
