WAFF develop sustainable policy
Turnock, D. (1990) WAFF develop sustainable policy. Elders Weekly, 16 August 1990. p. 23 [Publication] [Special Collections]
Summary
Newspaper article by David Turnock.
The Western Australian Farmers Federation (WAFF) declined to produce a statement about their definition of "sustainable development" in response to the Conference on Land Management. Instead they opted to keep a solution-focused ethos and avoid the semantic battle being waged elsewhere. The WAFF recommended the economic management of Australian conservation activity remain with the Department of Agriculture.
