WAFF develop sustainable policy

Turnock, D. (1990) WAFF develop sustainable policy. Elders Weekly, 16 August 1990. p. 23 [Publication] [Special Collections]

Summary

Newspaper article by David Turnock.

The West Australian Farmers Federation (WAFF) declined to produce a statement about their definiton of "sustainable devlopment" in response to the Conference on Land Management (1990). Instead they opted to keep a solution-focused ethos and avoid the semantic battle being waged elsewhere. WAFF recommended the economic management of Australian conservation activity remain with the Western Australian Agriculture Department.
