Professor Alan Robson of the University of Western Australia's School of Agriculture shares his thoughts on the challenges facing farmers. Professor Robson expresses concern about the scapegoating of farming practices as the cause of all environmental degradation and also observes that the poor quality of Western Australian soil existed before European settlement and farming methods were introduced.
