Summary
Provides a review of the WISALTS Consultant Starter Course held at Gnowangerup, Western Australia on 14 February 1990. The course, headed by Harry Whittington, aimed to teach the causes of land degradation and the WISALTS approach to restoring balance to agricultural land. Techniques such as the use of a divining rod to work out how to build interceptor banks were demonstrated.
