Future food must be contaminant free

(1990) Future food must be contaminant free. Elders Weekly, 15 February 1990. p. 8 [Publication] [Special Collections]

The Australian Association of Agricultural Consultants Western Australian "Farming the Nineties" Conference (Agcon 90) was held recently. Key topics included the use of agrichemicals for food production, which is predicted to be a hot-button issue for the public, who likely have little understanding of the true safety concerns about agrichemicals. Further government intervention into food production is predicted, though likely for political rather than scientific drivers.

This article contains an image of attendees of Agcon 90: Robert Jenzen, Chris Syme, Bruce Hill and Chris Henderson.
