McGauran, P. (1990) Letter to the editor - Turning point on soil. The Queensland Graingrower, 12 February 1990. p. 2 [Publication] [Special Collections]

Letter to the editor by Peter McGauran, MP, Shadow Minister for Science and Energy.

Outlines soil degradation crisis in key ecological sites, including the Murray-Darling Basin. Mr McGauran argues more research into soil degradation is necessary and criticises the Treasury's funding cuts to CSIRO programs dedicated to such work.
