Summary
The Fifth Australian Soil Conservation Conference to be held 21-23 March 1990 at the Hyatt Regency, Perth will leverage the expertise of keynote speaker Dr Leonard Lane, a soil scientist from the US. The focus of the conference is to understand the changing soil environment to help farmers boost productivity from the ground up. Despite an increase in crop variety and agricultural technology advancements Western Australia experienced below expected yield.
