Greens turn up heat in salt row

(1997) Greens turn up heat in salt row. The West Australian, 24 November 1997. p. 26 [Publication] [Special Collections]

Summary

In response to Syd Shea's criticisms of the conservation movement in the article, "Salt crisis a disaster, says Shea", conservationists highlight flaws in several of Shea's comments. Namely, they argue his narrative erased the government's wilful ignorance of conservation issues and criticise his agenda of commercialising (and privatising) invaluable conservation work.
