Summary
Newspaper article by Brendan Nicholson.
Outlines an Industrial Relations Commission hearing in which Dr Eileen Davidson, a plant pathologist at the Department of Conservation and Land Management (CALM), claims she was being transferred from Perth to Manjimup to stop her research which contradicted CALM's policy position that attributed tree loss to a dieback fungus.
Dr Loneragan, former dean of the School of Biological and Environmental Sciences at Murdoch University gave evidence at the hearing of Dr Shea's detrimental attitude towards Dr Davidson.
