Abstract

Part One, 'The View from Within' examines the work of juries in the criminal justice system in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Britain and Canada and theories of jury selection;

Part Two ' Aboriginal People and Juries in South Australia' examines the Australian literature, Aboriginal representation on juries, jury selection processes and methods of accommodating Aboriginal cultural perspectives in the court room.
