Interview with Geoffrey William Robinson by John Clements, recorded in Perth, Western Australia.

Geoffrey Robinson, the former director of the Perth branch of the Royal Mint, talks about the Mint and its history.

Geoffrey began working for the Mint in 1937; he states that he will be the last Head of the Mint with a direct connection to the original staff. He shares the origins of the Mint in Australia in the gold rush.

Geoffrey explains the legal organisation of the Royal Mint Perth Branch. He shares anecdotes from his time and makes comment on the role the Mint played in Perth's gold mining history.
