Interview with Olive Bottle by John Clements, recorded at Christchurch, England.

Olive Bottle was the first telephonist at the BBC after transferring from the General Electric Company, commencing on 17 March 1923. She shares anecdotes from her time as the sole point of contact between the BBC and the rest of the world.
