Summary
Interview with Ralph Barrett by John Clements.
Ralph Barrett talks about David Hughes, a pioneer of the telegraph writer. Ralph concludes the interview by commenting on the usefulness of telegraphy as opposed to simple Morse code for maritime vessels. This recording also includes a BBC radio program about the invention of radio, emphasising David Hughes' influence on Marconi's work.
