Summary

Lloyd Davies tells three anecdotes from his life; about domestic life in Perth and his experiences as a lawyer.

Tape 1 - Andrew's Trousers - Lloyd shares the story of overcoming a child's tantrum while driving a group of children to school.

Tape 2 - Fish, Chips & Battered Bride - Lloyd shares his experiences as a lawyer. He gives a short history of the legal system before Family Court became a distinct entity.

Tape 3 - Year of the Bantam - Lloyd recalls his BSA Bantam motorbike as a metaphor for the conditions for working lawyers before the profession gained prestige in Australia. He recalls the process of helping a client begin the process of adoption.
