Summary
Arthur Taylor interviewed by John Clements.
Arthur Taylor talks about his hobby as a ham operator, which led him to work with Western Mining in 1933, assisting with the plane surveys to find mineral outcrops.
Arthur started working at 6KG radio in Kalgoorlie in 1931 (the first commercial radio station in Western Australia) as a radio engineer and worked there for the next 40 years. He talks about several interesting incidents, including the night the King of England died in 1936, the abdication of the Prince of Wales and the visit of the Duke of Gloucester.
