Interview with Ernie Rose by John Clements, recorded in Perth, Western Australia.

Ernie Rose speaks about the early days of radio in Western Australia, beginning his career as a telephone technician in Cottesloe and Fremantle. He speaks of the Depression years in Merredin, recalls the birth of the Australian Broadcasting Commission (ABC) in 1932 and reflects on outside broadcasts and the conditions in various ABC buildings.
