Summary

Interview with Mrs Macrae by John Clements.

Mrs Macrae talks about her early life living on the Western Australian goldfields. Her family lived at Trafalgar (near Kalgoorlie), which at one time had up to 800 residents, but is now a ghost town. She moved to Perth at 13 to become a tailoress.

This sound recording is part of the John Clements Oral History Collection.
