Summary

Interview with Queenie and Noel Hills by John Clements.

Queenie and Noel Hills emigrated to Australia from England in 1924. They give an account of life in the Group Settlement Scheme, 7 miles of Northcliffe. Later they applied for a land grant in Manjimup through the Loan Grants Scheme from the Agricultural bank. They talk about living through the Depression and Noel talks about his life as a logger and axeman.
