Summary

Surveyors Report on WISALTS Conservation System created by I (Ian) Gilmour.

Comments: Note soils consist of sand over clay and very compacted. A = flyover. B = stop start. — throughflows. Report, plan number 25. Area has CCS system already installed, banks number 3 to 7 need to control hill and repair static zone on Cadoux Dowerin Road. Bank number 2 will cut flow road and overload over breakaway adjoining bank. Possible dam site on this bank. Bank number 1 has similar overload. Existing banks to be salvaged, numbers 3, 5 and 7. 3 and 5 need throughflows cut off, number 7 needs throughflows and plastic through static zone to empty into new system. System plan number 24. Number 1 bank takes overload from existing banks. Possible dam sites bank number 5. Vehicle passes can be installed when dam and fence have been decided. Bank depth range between 0.6 to 1.0 metre. Whole system will overload out southern end under railway line to be picked up again and controlled. Water must not be allowed in static zones.
