Summary
Surveyors Report on WISALTS Conservation System created by GF (Gavin) Drew.
Comments: Bank A extended north to cut off throughflow. (1) Seal with plastic. (2) Block bank either side of throughflow. (3) Seal with plastic (4 to 5 inches). (4) Continue from existing bank. (5) Seal with plastic 30 metres x 1.2 to 1.5 metres. (6) Check as sealing because small throughflows are evident. Bank B to be placed because too great a distance. Bank B and C to be constructed with consultants in attendance owing to magnitude of throughflow (plastic). (1) Man have to dig deeper at end to get back to outlet. (2) Repush Bank D. One deep throughflow 10 feet, many others at another 3 feet. Repush work. Clean up and another push, throughflow all plastic. Flyovers on main track to use pipes. Extension of D (east) to be lifted out of static water and extended. Start pushing from bank A and work down to D, reason — will reduce problems and pressure on D. Then a lot of thought to be put into construction of E. Possibly required if distance between C and D too great. If unable to get discharge point could return to creek as it probably will not be filled in and wouldn't cause a problem. *Grade 3 centimetres to get rid of water. * Make sure dozer keeps floor smooth and level.
