Summary
Surveyors Report on WISALTS Conservation System created by PF (Peter) Woodward.
Comments: Bank A - seal throughflows with plastic or repush depending on depth of throughflows (4 to 6 feet). Bank B - new bank to herringbone with bank G expect to have to cut off throughflow. Bank C - same as A. Bank D - same as A and C to point X. From this point a bank should be constructed taking to Mortlock River? Bank E - same as D. Bank F - seal all throughflows and herringbone with A. Bank G - throughflow at end that needs plastic and repush. Bank H - seal throughflow. Bank I - new bank to herringbone with C. Bank J - new bank to herringbone with H. Level bank change to grade with possible thought of continuing on. Comments: Bank construction not deep enough to seal shallow throughflows. No sign of any attempt to herringbone banks in main creek. This could cause problems under flood situation. Plastic sheeting needed in deep throughflows and where banks cross static water zones.
