Summary

Surveyors Report on WISALTS Conservation System created by B (Brian) Baxter.

Comments: This is the plan that I would have done if surveying this morning 25th September 1986. (1) and (2) these total areas are badly waterlogged. Water must be graded off. I would have used creek on eastern side of farm as disposal to keep water away form waterlogged areas. (3) Area is being affected by water coming from west to east as shown on aerial photo. Sand seams need to be defined and treated accordingly. Farm is in a basin with granite hills all around. Soils on slopes are very easily leached so subsurface runoff would be high complicating problems in area below. If you need to know anything else just ask.
