Summary

Surveyor's Report on WISALTS Soil Conservation System created by L (Lyndon) Henning.

Comments: Road crown and verge to be lower than general ground level on south side of road but higher than north side of road. Offshoot drain "A" to be constructed by shire in conjunction with the Public Works Department. The pipe should not have to be disturbed. Soil can be moved from above the pipe to form a bank and drain. Gravel to be clumped high enough up the road. Gutter to drain the gutter across the pipe in the interceptor bank in paddock. The gravel bank is to form part of the road so as not to interfere with traffic.
