Summary
Surveyor's Report on WISALTS Soil Conservation System created by BJ (Crash) Edwards.
Comments: Bank number 1 - 300 metres. Bank number 2 - 450 metres. Bank number 3. A tail upwards must be made on the east end of number 1 and number 2. Fall from top ridge to first bank 2.22 metres, area above number 1 and 2 approximately 18 metres. Until the banks are low enough down slope to utilise the natural creek the quartz ridges would be used as safety overflows for flood conditions. I have never seen this type of country run water off the surface. Because of the collapsed nature of the soils this whole area under survey will need banks at no less than 2.5 metres fall, apart in some areas 2 metres may be necessary.
