Summary

Surveyor's Report on WISALTS Soil Conservation System created by R (Rod) Sawyer.

Comments: York gum, mallee, white gum country. Grey clay flats. Topsoil from 12 to 6 inches deep. Point A to B has 36 centimetres, 10 centimetres, 8 centimetres, 3 centimetres, 2 centimetres and 4 centimetres every 30 metres and then back to 1 to 2 centimetre fall. Point C empties out into the west bank which is about 30 metres below. There is no visible salt on any of the land surveyed. Clover can be found over all the flat areas. All lines ripped with ripper, with clay coming to surface all the way. Holes bored in deeper white gum areas to check for clay.
