Summary

Surveyor's Report on WISALTS Soil Conservation System created by RT (Rob) Stone.

Comments: Bank A: has 2 centimetre fall in 30 metres. Topsoil is shallow, so light ripping to remove topsoil, then rip clay and push against topsoil bank. Machinery gap, turn down top bank and turn up bottom bank and seal end of bottom bank. About 1 kilometre. Bank B: has 2 centimetre fall in 30 metres, continue bank across face of dam and make entrance to dam on right hand end (lower side) leave existing drain open into bank. Flyovers will be needed (Bowe will site). About 1.6 kilometres. Bank C: from beginning to creek has 1 centimetre fall in 30 metres, and this section will require more topsoil removal. If in doubt about sealing quality of subsoil please contact immediately (711862) From creek to main waterway the fall is 8 centimetres in 30 metres to enable reaching main waterway, without dropping gaps. About 2 kilometres. Future work: continuation of bank B and C. Another bank draining to creek between A and B which would cross valley in paddock 15, continue into paddock 16 and two level banks to dam in paddock number 6. These would cover this side well. Regards Rob.
