Summary

Surveyors Report on WISALTS Conservation System created by A (Alan) Nicholson.

Comments: A small amount of water is travelling above ground then soaking in before it reaches wet spots. We have two banks cutting off flow but subsoil is shale type stone and won't hold but water will travel on it. We have some seal but the rest we are cutting into the shale to put water below seepage line and spread it out along bank line. Neighbour said he will treat his side of fence in 1 or 2 years. Country is thirsty morrell of volcanic origin. Wet spots don't get boggy wet but are results of seepage. I have had good results with this type of treatment on own property.
